What I found more convincing about Edifier R1280T and Edifier R1280Ts is that they come with remote control as well. You can adjust the volume, bass, and treble by the knobs or using a remote control, whichever is feasible for you. Since both of the speakers are equally easy to control, I can not call any speaker superior simply by judging the control.
Compatibility
My curious nature made me connect and experiment with Edifier R1280T and Edifier R1280Ts with different devices. After loads of failed and successful experiments, I concluded that the Edifier R1280T is highly suitable for computers whereas the R1280Ts comparatively go well with computers, smartphones, and tablets.

Even though most of the features of the Edifier R1280T and R1280Ts are the same. However, still, the R1280Ts are a bit expensive. It is about $139.99 however, the manufacturer has now been selling it at $119. Whereas the other option was listed to be sold at $117, sadly no discount has been given on Edifier R1280T.
